Dr Shibani Sahni
BDS, Post Grad Dip. (Adel Uni)
Dr Sahni obtained her post graduate diploma in restorative dentistry from the University of Adelaide. She has also studied at the University of Melbourne where she gained invaluable experience in the latest dental technologies and techniques. She has also been a clinical tutor for 4th year dental students at the University of Sydney in the United Dental Hospital. Dr Sahni has also practiced in Hornsby, Asquith and the Sydney CBD for a number of years prior.
Dr Sahni has had many years of extensive experience in all areas of general dentistry. Her principal interest include general cosmetic dentistry which includes veneers, bonding, whitening, crowns and bridges. She is currently pursuing her interest in implant surgery.
Dr Sahni is a family dentist and specialises in treating children and anxious patients. Her understanding, patient and calming nature keeps her patients at ease. She is popular with children and also provides a number of solutions including sleep dentistry for her more nervous adult patients. She is highly regarded and respected among all her colleges and patients as she delivers exceptional dental treatment in a friendly and professional manner.
Dr Sahni is fluent in English and Hindi and her gentle, patient caring nature helps put nervous patients at ease. She is a welcomed addition to the Gordon and North Shore community and is also available on late nights and Saturdays.
Dr Michael Tame
BDS, MFDS RCS, DipSurgDent
Dr Tame qualified as a dentist from Bristol University in the United Kingdom in year 2000. He undertook formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in South Wales, spending seven years at the unit in the Royal Gwent Hospital. During this time he obtained his Membership from the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS).
After immigrating to Australia in 2009, Dr Tame was appointed by QLD Health to deliver specialist level Surgical Dentistry and Oral Surgery services based at Toowoomba Hospital. He also held an academic teaching position in the Oral Surgery Department at the University of Queensland.
Following relation to Sydney, Dr Tame completed further postgraduate study, attaining the Diploma of Surgical Dentistry before being appointed as a Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Sydney. He is currently employed by NSW Health as a Hospital Recognised Specialist in the Oral Surgery Department of Sydney Dental Hospital where he is heavily involved in the surgical and academic training and development of new and post-graduate dentists.
Dr Kathy Ngo
BDS Hons. (University of Sydney)
Dr Kathy Ngo completed her degree at Sydney University in 1995, with First Class Honours. In the last two decades, she has worked as a general dentist in metropolitan and suburban Sydney providing quality service to the community. In her free time, she is also a volunteer with the Red Cross Dental Clinic.
Dr Ngo is a member of the Australian Dental Association and is committed to ongoing studies to keep her dental knowledge current. She has a keen interest in children‘s dentistry as well as cosmetic aspects of teeth.
Dr Ngo is committed to providing patients with the best dental care. She takes the time to understand her patients, provides a thorough dental treatment plan and advises on simple-to-follow preventative measures to ensure healthy dental hygiene. Her gentle and caring approach makes for each dental visit to be a positive one.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She hopes to, one day, find enough time to travel and provide dental services to impoverished and underprivileged communities.
